Interest in Solana is increasing

Solana has attracted a lot of attention since the elections. With a possible approval for a spot Solana ETF on the horizon, eyes are only more on this popular crypto. Earlier this week, US bank JPMorgan shared a report concluding that if approval goes through, it will attract billions.

The deadline for approval of Grayscale’s spot Solana ETF is January 23, and two days after that is the deadline for many other Solana ETFs, such as VanEck, 21Shares, Canary and Bitwise.

If these crypto ETFs, traditional investors, often institutions, who use asset management companies, will gain access to Solana at once.

In addition to the possibility of ETF approval, Solana is also attracting a lot of attention for its integration of AI.

Solana price – Technical indicators

The Solana price is currently at $200.32, which has increased by no less than 5.92% since yesterday. This happened after the price was trading at the support level of $186.26. Currently, SOL is receiving support from the $196 level and is consolidating above this value in the past few hours. Solana may now be creating momentum to rise further.

If the price rises, it will first encounter the resistance level of $205, then $215 and then we can look forward to a price of $225.

The RSI of 44.58 does not look very bullish at the moment and we can also see that in the Average Directional Index (ADX). The DI- has risen just above the DI+ as can be seen in the graph below.

However, the lines currently appear to be moving towards each other again, allowing the DI+ to make a crossover again. That then sends a bullish signal. This may allow the Solana price to start an increase again and break the resistance level of $205.94.

It looks like Solana may rise in the near future, especially with all the developments regarding AI integration and possible ETFs. For investors who want to take a risk, it is also interesting in such times to look at new crypto coins.
