Latest Everton injury news, return dates and suspensions
Everton have had a turbulent 2023/24 campaign, with the Premier League season now in April. The Toffees were sunk by a ten-point deduction for FFP breaches, but have since battled their way out of the bottom three and had the sanction reduced to six points.
However, Sean Dyche’s men could once again be stung by another points deduction for a further breach of regulations.
The Merseyside club will be eager to keep their players fit with the prospect of another points deduction in the near future, and with that in mind, Football FanCast is here to keep you updated with the latest injury news coming out of Goodison Park.
Latest Everton injury news
Everton will potentially be without four players for tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle United, with Dele Alli and Arnaut Danjuma definitely missing, after getting no mention in Dyche’s presser.
And, a couple of players may join that list, with Vitaliy Mykolenko and Amadou Onana potentially missing out.

Vitaliy Mykolenko – illness
Vitality Mykolenko was absent from Everton’s loss to Bournemouth last time out.
And, he could be back as it was only due to an illness, not injury, as Dyche said this:
“Ben stuck at it at left-back. Myko was ill, it was not an injury. He’s likely to be through that over the weekend.”
Amadou Onana – The Best of Amadou Onana
In better news, it appears that Amadou Onana should be back, but it’s not 100% certain.
Dyche provided a positive update on the situation after the Bournemouth loss:
“I think they’re minor. I’ll find out more but don’t think they’re too serious.”
Dele Alli – injury setback
Dele is yet to play for Dyche, as he was on loan with Besiktas when the former Burnley boss was appointed manager.
And things have gone from bad to worse for the recovering midfielder, as he’s set to be out for even longer after going under the knife recently.
Dyche provided an update recently on Dele as well, stating: “Dele’s focus is just getting fit. Obviously, he’s got a period [to go] yet but he’s just focusing on that. We’re not worrying about when, just, first things first, get fit. That’s all we’re looking for him to do and that’s all he’s looking to do.”
Arnaut Danjuma – ankle
The forward suffered an ankle injury during the goalless stalemate at Fulham, which has caused him to miss a fair few games.
However, Dyche has provided an update on his situation as he stated:
“Arnie is only just back out on the grass with us. He’s been on the grass with the medical side and the sports science side getting fit and making sure he’s well but literally his first training session was with us – as a group – today. So, therefore, he’s going to need a bit of time to make sure he’s right.”
Latest Everton suspension news
The club will go into Tuesday’s game without any players missing through suspension.
