Amperity expands to Australian AWS Regions and invests in local talent
AI-powered Customer Data Cloud, Amperityhas announced an expansion of its Australian operations, including the availability of its platform in the AWS Asia-Pacific Sydney and Melbourne Regions, after growing demand from enterprises that require local data residency and scale.
Amperity’s footprint in Australia has doubled in size over the past year, having gained customers including JB Hi-FiEndeavour Group, and Accent Group. The company has also announced an accompanying investment in regional talent.
As Amperity’s client organisations scale-up their channels and brands, each uses Amperity to unify customer data across business units, increasing personalisation and customer activity.
By operating in both the AWS regions in Australia, Amperity lets organisations keep customer data locally and maintain the performance and flexibility required for real-time customer intelligence.
This lets enterprises in industries like airlines, banking, and telecommunications to unify and use customer data on Australian soil, supporting advanced analytics, AI-driven use cases, and customer engagement. By doing so, Amperity helps organisations meet their local data residency and privacy goals.
“Australia has become a proving ground for some of our most complex customer data challenges, from strict data residency requirements to large-scale, multi-brand environments,” said Billy Loizou, AVP and General Manager at Amperity. “Expanding our team and making Amperity available in AWS regions in Australia allows us to support customers more closely on the ground and help them turn trusted customer data into real business outcomes.”
Amperity is also investing in its Melbourne team. The company hired Matthew Yip as a Customer Solutions Architect recently, as well as Uday Gupta as a Services Delivery Manager. These additions strengthen Amperity’s ability to support local customers, the company says.
The Australian expansion is part of Amperity’s strategy to help enterprises move beyond fragmented customer data and build unified, AI-ready foundations. On that basis, organisations in the region can better personalise experiences and act on customer data at scale.
Amperity will host its Amplify event on May 6 in New York City, which will bring together marketing and technology leaders to explore how AI and customer data are driving measurable business outcomes. Space is limited, so interested parties are urged to register now.
Amperity says its Customer Data Cloud lets brands transform customer data into business assets quickly and accurately.
