Joshua Zirkzee’s time at Old Trafford could be set to come to an end this summer, and the Dutchman leaving may not be of the greatest concern to Michael Carrick, given that he has netted just five Premier League goals since arriving from Bologna back in 2024.

Benjamin Sesko, on the other hand, enjoyed a promising debut campaign in England, with the former RB Leipzig man netting 11 Premier League goals, after becoming United’s seventh-most expensive signing in history last summer.

With Zirkzee in line to leave, the Red Devils have already identified a number of striker targets ahead of the summer transfer window, which is set to officially open on June 15th.

However, INEOS are also considering swooping in to sign a Newcastle United target.

According to journalist Sebastien Vidal, Man United are now plotting a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovicwith Premier League rivals Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle also in the race for his signature.

In fact, the Serbia international has been seriously considering a move to St. James’ Park, with the Mapgies actively searching for strikers, in light of Nick Woltemade falling down the pecking order as the season wore on, while Yoane Wissa scored just one Premier League goal in 19 outings.

Vlahovic’s wage demands could be very high though, given that he rakes in a whopping £369,000-a-week at Juventus, where he has impressed at times, being lauded as “outstanding” by manager Luciano Spalletti last season.

That said, the 26-year-old’s record in front of goal since arriving at Juventus from Fiorentina leaves a lot to be desired, so United should have some reservations about making a move.

Vlahovic also remains unproven in the Premier League, unlike Kroupi, who played a major role in Bournemouth qualifying for the Europa League, scoring 13 goals, and he is much younger than the Juventus striker, at just 19-years-old.

As such, should United want to sign a new striker to challenge for Sesko’s starting spot, the Frenchman could be the ideal target.
