Stake aims for further growth in Latin America after launch in Mexico

Stake is exploring additional expansion opportunities across Latin America following its recent launch in Mexico, according to LatAm General Manager Diana Otalora.

Stake began its to work within the Mexican gambling market this month when they partnered with Uno Capali to do so officially through a SEGOB grant. The operator has expanded already into Colombia, Peru and Brazil in 2023. With Mexico being the 4th regulated country in the continent.

According to Otalora, Latin America is still one of the largest regions for Stake’s strategic growth plan, and as regulations in all markets evolve, Stake will be keeping a watchful eye on new countries within the market to enter.

Mexico has all of the assets necessary for Stake’s expansion, such as a robust sports culture, a population base that is significant, and a rapidly growing digital marketplace leading into 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Stake has plans to take a localised approach within all countries they enter in Latin America by adapting to the regulations of each country and to the manner in which players engage with the sport.

Otalora noted that both local and global sponsorship initiatives will still be critical aspects for expanding Stake’s brand within Latin America. At the present time, Stake sponsors Everton F.C. and was the title sponsor for the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber.
